The 26th Edition of the Connected Banking Summit – Innovation & Excellence Awards 2026 (East Africa Edition), hosted by the International Center for Strategic Alliances (ICSA), will convene senior banking, fintech, regulatory, and technology leaders on 11 March 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya.
As East Africa advances from rapid digital adoption to deeper financial-technology integration, the summit will serve as a strategic platform for collaboration and innovation. Under the theme “Driving Digital Banking Evolution and Financial-Technology Integration Across East Africa,” discussions will focus on open finance, real-time and cross-border payments, AI-driven decision intelligence, digital identity, cyber resilience, and interoperable financial infrastructure.
With Kenya recognized as a global leader in mobile money and financial inclusion, the event will also address regulatory alignment and digital trust, reflecting priorities shaped by institutions such as the Central Bank of Kenya.
